This is a working version of my Ranch Jacket.

The shell is Cone Mills White Oak Plant experimental double Pima (warp and weft) gold ticking selvage sanforized denim. The long Pima fibers make the indigo extra saturated which will create unique fading and an overall stronger denim weave.

The lining is a North Carolina homespun natural dye cotton in green and brown check. Corduroy collar cut from a vintage 1970’s Levis cowboy blazer.

Pre acquiring of my keyhole button hole machine so the button holes are non keyhole and the buttons are horn style.

Cuffs are box pleat fastened with brass ring snaps.

Some features include front lined bhand pockets incorporated into vertical hand felled seams. Front top pocket flaps incorporated into front yoke. Bi-swing back.

This is a men’s large with a 25” chest, 23” center front, and 31” collar to cuff.

This sample was field tested before I revised a few details on the pattern and sewed up a new sample to test. It has been used while wood cutting, laying gravel, and wrenching on trucks so there’s some dirt worked into the denim. I can leave as is or do a mild hand wash before shipping.
