Tilden Jeans have been updated with the careful guidance of my old friend Roy, of Roy Denim. His years of researching the patterns, fit, construction methods, and balanced proportions of early Levi’s keep me in total awe of his knowledge and dedication.

Current denim available is the Barn Find.

These are single needle construction jeans. The fit is a balance of hugging the waist with ease of movement through hips and knees. Accomplished through a generous rise typical of traditional mining jeans, these are great to work in or relax. The front pockets are cut a bit lower.

Zip fly option- Zipper was specially developed for me by YKK Japan in their Old American style line. Pull, stops, and tape are to my specs.

Button fly option- I’ve set up my new to me, 1950’s American manufactured Reece keyhole button hole machine and gathered the classic two prong donut jeans buttons and all required tooling. Buttons are black anodized, fade to brass.

Waistband is a keyhole buttonhole and two prong donut style jeans button closure for button and zip fly.

Label and other details use an elk hide from my mountain man friend, Clam Man of Salmon Idaho, dry cow elk harvested and tanned 1991 fall season.

I am a one man shop with sewing experience since 1998. Each pair of jeans is hand cut and sewn by myself, one at a time, one pair a day, signed and dated with date of production.
