The “Barn" denim:
13oz STF selvedege denim from the White Oak Mill. Woven on the original Draper looms that the classic Levi's, Lee and Wrangler denims were made.
This denim was an experimental development for LVC circa 2005 and for unknown reason, never used. Instead it was stored by one of LVC’s sewing contractors in in North Carolina, and with the help of Victor from Raleigh Denim, eventually sold to Roy, and by that, to Tilden.
A deep indigo shade has a greenish-brown quality by virtue of a "tea stain" yarn dye on the white weft yarns. This denim starts out looking quite conservative in slub character, but with wear will have incredible vintage fades featuring a slub yarn combination classically 40's/50's White Oak. Red Line selvedge.
Sizes are post rinse/shrink based on your true waist measurement

*** I’ve set up my new to me, 1950’s American manufactured Reece keyhole button hole machine and gathered the classic two prong donut jeans buttons and all required tooling. Buttons are black anodized, fade to brass. So one can now choose between a button waist with zip fly or full button fly. ***
